What is a PocketDrum?
If you are passionate about playing the drums and wish you could play them where ever you go, then the Pocketdrum may be just what you’re looking for. Pocketdrum is the most portable drum set ever!
During the epidemic, I was stuck at home. However, I cannot abandon my only hobby, playing the drums.
As you professionals or amateurs known, installing a physical drum kit requires large space, the noise is loud, and the threshold of learning is high when actually playing, so it is quite difficult to start at home. “AeroBand” introduced this time to solve such traditional problems for both beginners and veterans.
- How does it work?
The air drumstick is similar to the shape of the ordinary drum. However, what attracts me a lot is the outlook with unique design, impressing me with a future sense of technology. Really cool indeed!
Every time I complete the drumming movement, there will be a corresponding rhythm played out from the Bluetooth connected device, PocketDrum.
For this, I had a look at the Users’ manual and realized that the way of playing out a rhythm for PocketDrum, is to accurately identify my drumming movements through the gyroscope motion sensing technology. The idea of design is quite genuine, isn’t it?
- How to use it?
Before enjoying it, PocketDrum needs to be equipped with a supporting App for operation Aeroband. There are three modes on my Aeroband app including Tutorial Mode, Free Mode, and Game Mode.
The collaboration between the App and the product realizes my dream of quickly starting to play musical instruments and enhances the fun of my musical experience at the same time. Increase my skill anywhere, anytime with PocketDrum!

I’d personally love to try another musical instrument from Aeroband, PocketGuitar, since drumsticks only cannot satisfy my desire for more advanced learning of drums, and PocketGuitar can update my current drumsticks unbelievably.

- How to use it?
As guitarists are known, the guitar pick is simply a device that reproduces the performance of a guitar, so we can play the PocketGuitar as an air guitar, a general but Bluetooth guitar.
However, this is not the end. Actually, with PocketGuitar, namely a foot sensor, it is possible to reproduce the foot pedal operation. The bass drum and hi-hat cymbal are operated with the foot sensors. For this, I just need to attach separately feet sensors to my feet to reproduce the operation of the foot pedal.
In short, once I wear it on my foot when connecting PocketGuitar with AeroBand, the right is recognized as a bass drum, and the left is recognized as a hi-hat cymbal. In this case, it’s a perfect gift for updating our PocketDrum.
